Volunteer

Volunteers make a significant and positive difference to the lives of our patients and working environment. We are always looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals willing to share their valuable time with us.

We invite dedicated and public spirited people to come forward, and help us with the running of the dispensary. You can volunteer :

1. Part-time / full-time  - to help us manage the day-to-day activities of the dispensary.

2. Doctors - if you are a qualified doctor, and wish to spend a part of your precious time at our Dispensary , to serve the community.

3.  Fundraising Volunteer - if you can help us collect funds for the dispensary expansion programme through your neighbours / relatives / friends / collegues / classmates / students. More the number of persons that can be gathered to contribute towards the cause, less will be the monetary contribution required of any single person to achieve our objective.

For example, if you work at an MNC with some 500 executives, you can send out an appeal through your office mail, collect Rs. 100 from each person, and we can have a fund of Rs. 50,000. You are most welcome to visit us, before taking a decision to do the same.

Donate

Having regard to the cost involved in the expansion of Dharmarth Dispensary, and there being no Trust Funds, we request all Organizations & Individuals for generous donations, on which tax relief is also available under 80-G, so that the equipments & instruments can be installed as soon as possible.

4. Sponsor an Instrument / Construction of a room etc. If you feel more comfortable sponsoring the equipment etc. we need to buy for Cataract Operation Theatre / Maternity Ward, and would like to pay directly for that purpose, please Contact Us.

5. Sponsor Monthly Expenses / Donate a fixed amount monthly - If instead of donating lump-sum, you wish to donate a fixed amount (even if it is Rs. 100 / 500 / 1000) monthly, you may do so. In that case, we can send you a combined receipt at the end of the year. We assure you that the money will be put towards the increase in expenses, due to explansion plans, and to help more number of people.

Donate in Kind

1. If you have medicines lieing at home that have not expired and are of no use to you, we can use them at the dispensary.

2. If you have old clothes, especially woollens, we can have them distributed in the area. A lot of illness, and especially Tuberculosis in the area is because due to lack of proper clothing, the people in the area tend to catch cold. You may also donate blankets etc. to be distributed.

3. If you have old furnitutre lieing at home - chairs, tables, ACs, etc., we may be able to use the same at the Dispensary.
